Dr. Grace Tang is a physician with Rex Family Practice of Wakefield. She received her medical training at Pennsylvania State University College of Medicine and completed her residency at Franklin Square Family Practice in Baltimore, MD. She is board-certified in family medicine. Dr. Tang is also certified in medical acupuncture and offers the alternative treatment at her office. Rex Culinary & Nutritional Services

Chef Ryan Conklin is a Chef Manager for Culinary & Nutritional Services at Rex. He is a native New Yorker, and graduate of the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, N.Y. An executive chef at age 24, his culinary travels included a stop at prestigious Four Seasons Hotel in Manhattan, where he prepared cuisine for celebrities on a daily basis. Ryan spent time sharpening his skills as a chef in Limerick Ireland, Sarasota, Florida and New York’s Hudson Valley Region. In 2010, he won an American Culinary Federation gold medal while representing Rex at the “Cut to the Core Culinary Challenge” at Johnson & Whales University in Charlotte with Food Network celebrity Alton Brown as a judge. He has also won a silver medal from the Association of Healthcare Foodservice Management in a nationwide culinary challenge in Phoenix, AZ in 2011.
Since joining the healthcare side of the food industry, he has had one solid vision, to completely remove the label simply known as “Hospital Food”.

Ashley Honeycutt
Rex Wellness Center

Ashley Honeycutt, RD, LDN is the manager of Corporate and Community Services for Rex Wellness Centers. She leads the development and growth of community and corporate health promotions programs including nutrition, prevention and lifestyle enrichment programs.
Ashley is a graduate of UNC-Chapel Hill and began her career in the technology industry. After much soul searching, she decided to follow her passion for health and nutrition and returned to school for a second degree at Meredith College in Raleigh.
She has been with Rex since 2004, since she began her career in the nutrition field. In 2008, Ashley was awarded the North Carolina Dietetic Association’s Young Dietitian of the Year award. Most recently, she received the Robert Boone award of merit from the Medical Fitness Association for Rex’s Healthy Way program. This national award recognizes those who make significant contributions in defining benchmarks in the medical fitness industry. She currently serves the community through her work on the Eat Smart Move More North Carolina Leadership Team, and the Justus-Warren Heart Disease and Stroke Prevention Task Force and as a member of the Raleigh District Dietetic Association.
Jeanie Stasko
Rex Wellness Center

Jeanie Stasko is a Health Educator for Rex Wellness Centers who blogs about fitness, exercise & overall healthy lifestyle topics.
Jeanie graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a degree in Exercise and Sport Science and is a National Academy of Sports Medicine Certified Personal Trainer. She is exceptionally passionate about helping others reach their health and wellness objectives. Her current focus is to develop and implement health education programs for Rex Wellness Centers. Additionally, she enjoys providing corporate and community health screenings and counseling clients on their results. Prior to joining Rex, Jeanie served as an Exercise Physiologist at Duke Health and Fitness Center. She was happy to join Rex Healthcare in 2008 as a Wellness Coordinator at Rex Wellness Center of Cary.
Brian Trabulsi
Outpatient Rehab

Brian Trabulsi, MPT, ATC is a physical therapist at Rex Hospital Outpatient Rehabilitation in Raleigh. He graduated with a BS in Sports Medicine from Marietta College in Ohio. In 2000, he received his Masters Degree in Physical Therapy from Chatham University in Pittsburgh. He moved back to New Jersey and was a pediatric PT providing early intervention and school-based therapy services. After relocating to Raleigh, Brian began pursuing an advanced certification in manual therapy and joined Rex Healthcare in 2008. Since then, he developed Rex’s Perfect Pace Program designed to assess and meet the specific treatment and injury prevention needs of runners. He is focused on new ways to expand Rex Outpatient Rehabilitation services to the Triangle community. Brian enjoys mountain biking, CrossFit, and running but it all takes a back seat to spending time with his wife Jennifer and their 3 small children.
Dr. Yale Podnos
Rex Surgical Specialists

Dr. Yale D. Podnos is a Surgical Oncologist at Rex Surgical Specialists. He specializes in surgical oncology focused on liver, colon and solid organ tumors. He is also the director of Surgical Oncology at Rex Cancer Center. Dr. Podnos received his undergraduate degree from New York University. After receiving his masters of public health from Harvard University, he completed medical school and his general surgery training at the University of California, Irvine. He went on to complete a surgical oncology fellowship at the City of Hope National Medical Center in Duarte, California, making him the only fellowship trained surgical oncologist in Wake County specializing in cutaneous, gastrointestinal and hepatopancreatic oncology.

Elizabeth Rochin
Clinical Manager, 7 East
Elizabeth Rochin, MSN, RN is the Clinical Manager of 7 East at Rex Healthcare. She graduated from the University of Virginia with a Bachelor’s of Nursing, and in 2010 received her Master’s in Nursing (Nursing Administration) from East Carolina University. She is currently completing coursework for her PhD in Nursing Administration from East Carolina University. Go Pirates! Elizabeth has been at Rex Healthcare since 2003, and has served in the capacities as staff nurse and nurse manager. She is a member of the Clinical Faculty for the Baccalaureate Senior Division at East Carolina University, and provides clinical (Capstone) education for senior nursing students. Teaching and motivating others to reach their full potential is a highlight of her work, and is excited to incorporate this work into 7 East with her patients and team.
